Recent A/As Level Results

EIS Moscow are very proud of our A/AS Level students as they have once again produced terrific results! Congratulations to the Secondary staff team who were involved and, of course, to the students for their hard work and diligence. It really does pay off!

Both A and AS Level results produced a 100% pass rate for grades A* - E, which is great. However, A Level results included a remarkable 100% A* - C pass rate and AS Level results had nearly 20% pass rate for A*-A, which we are all particularly proud of. It's also worth noting, and celebrating, that over 20% of grades were better than predicted for AS Level and nearly 25% for A Levels. Amazing, well done!

Recent IGCSE Results

We are delighted to announce that our IGCSE students have achieved excellent results, especially in light of the extreme challenges we faced. Most of our IGCSE students achieved grades A - C and nearly a quarter of all grades were A* / A! We are very proud, needless to say.

Special attention has to be paid to Maths this year as everyone achieved grades between 5 and 9. It is unlikely many schools in the world would have achieved these types of results.

Everyone in EIS has worked tirelessly, and continues to do so, to ensure that our students are supported, driven forward and remain committed to success!

A/AS Level Results 2021

EIS Moscow are delighted to announce that 92% of EIS A/AS Level students achieved grades A - C in Maths and English in summer 2021. 71% of EIS A/AS Level students achieved an A- B grade in all subjects. In addition, 79%of AS students achieved results that were two grades above those predicted by cognitive ability tests; demonstrating the high-quality teaching and learning we provide at EIS. We are particularly proud of our students who achieved these fantastic results despite the added confusion of participating in two different assessment procedures during a worldwide pandemic.

Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) is the world’s leading international British qualifications provider, setting the global standard for international education. These examinations are sat by students at schools in over 160 countries around the world.

Cambridge courses are created by subject experts, rooted in academic rigour and reflect the latest educational research.

Today, Cambridge IGCSEs the world’s most popular international qualification for 14 to 16 year olds. Not only is it truly international - it gives students more options than any other international qualification. That means more subjects to choose from, more ways to learn and more ways to succeed.

Thousands of learners worldwide gain places at leading universities every year with Cambridge International AS & A Levels. The syllabuses develop a deep understanding of subjects and independent thinking skills, allowing students to specialise or study a broader range of subjects.

I enjoyed the accommodating atmosphere and the size of classes, which were small enough to allow every teacher to provide every student with the attention they needed. In years 12 and 13, I appreciated that the teachers trusted us to be responsible enough with our studies and preparations for exams, but were still there for us and ready to help.
