As you know EIS students sat exams in 2023/24 for the first time in 5 years, and we did that through LRN. The exam board which we brought into the country also has started working with other highly qualified schools but we remain one of only three in the country!
Without further ado, we are very excited to share the roundup of IGCSE and A-Level results at EIS Moscow. Naturally, we are incredibly proud of this year’s EIS students and their very pleasing results!
Once again, a big thank you to all of the wonderful teachers responsible for such high levels of success and, of course, to all the parents for their ongoing support.
IGCSE Results:
- More than a quarter (29%) of EIS entries were awarded an A or A* grade and it is higher than UK average entries which are 21,6%.
- English Language grades A-A* are 80%.
- The overall pass rate - the proportion of entries graded A* to E - has risen to 94% this year, which is higher the pre-pandemic year of 2019 (92%).
A-Level Results:
- The proportion of candidates receiving top grades has risen from last year and remains higher than before the Covid-19 pandemic - a total of 48% of entries were awarded either an A or A*, up from 31% in 2023 and above 33% in 2019. It is also higher than UK average A-A* results which are 27,8%.
- Some 81% of entries received a C or above, up from 69% in 2023.
For yet another year we are comfortably higher than UK averages. Our best results for A Levels in EIS history! Congratulations to everyone!
