Congratulations to students at EIS Moscow who are celebrating yet another year of outstanding examination results.
Here at EIS, our students are prepared for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and Advanced Level (A-Level) examinations, the world’s most popular international qualifications, recognised by leading universities and employers worldwide.
We are delighted that our exam results from last year have broken 7 different records at EIS and has been the most successful academic year. The increases in comparison to past performances are also very satisfying, especially in those ever-important core subjects.
Furthermore, over 80% of the IGCSE cohort achieving A* to C grades is extremely impressive, and way above the UK national average! To put these numbers in perspective:
- 89% A* to C pass rate for Mathematics for EIS, whereas the UK national average was 61%.
- Science was 100% at EIS whereas the national UK average was 56.6%.
- English Literature in the UK was 64.2% and Language was 73.9%; whereas EIS achieved 95%.
A* to C IGCSE exam grades in all subjects
Achieved grades A*-C in Science IGCSEs
increase in A*-A Maths results compared to 2022 results
100% pass rate for AS/A Levels is as good as you can get and we are looking forward to seeing where the A Level cohort end up! We already have two students starting their further education journeys at places like St Andrews in Edinburgh, Scotland and East Anglia University in England.
A truly remarkable year, well done everyone!

Nina Z.AlumniI enjoyed the accommodating atmosphere and the size of classes, which were small enough to allow every teacher to provide every student with the attention they needed. In years 12 and 13, I appreciated that the teachers trusted us to be responsible enough with our studies and preparations for exams, but were still there for us and ready to help.
