YEAR 2
Hip, Hip, Hurray for Book Week! Year 2 dressed to impress for the costume parade on Friday! The children confidently marched down our parade route and explained to the whole school which character they were dressed up as. The children read so many interesting books this week, both at home and in school. Well done Year 2 for getting into the spirit of Book Week!
In class, we read the story of Mary Poppins and the children were transported to a magical world where you can ‘jump’ into paintings and have tea-parties on the ceiling! Year 2 wrote about their own adventures in Mary Poppins world. The children can borrow the book from our library if they would like to read it again at home. Well Year 2 for a fantastic Book Week!
