As a school, we are keen to continue improving our quality of teaching and learning and have already put together an action plan, incorporating your feedback, which include the following:

  • Brief curriculum overviews have been shared with parents in each year group on March 5 to outline the learning that is taking place each Term.
  • EIS W will continue to offer club activities to pupils during Golden Time on Friday and new after school activities, which will begin at the beginning of Summer Term. Our goal is to meet students’ sporting, cultural and creative interests.
  • Two separate outdoor climbing frames are available for younger and older students.
  • Additional outdoor sports equipment will be available at the beginning of Summer Term: (1) Early Years + Year 1: Sand trays and toys; flower boxes and tools for gardening; Wendy house; outdoor climbing frame. (2) Key Stages 1 + 2: Flower boxes and tools for gardening; football and basketball, bats and balls, table tennis.

As always, we continue to welcome your feedback to support us in providing the best experiences for our students. Our PTA meets once every half-term and we would welcome your contribution. The next PTA meeting is scheduled for Friday, 16th April at 9.00 a.m. on Zoom. We will send a Zoom link to parents at the beginning of Summer Term, so that you can join us.
