EIS Moscow South West Parent Survey Results 2020-21

Thank you for taking the time to fill in the parent survey, it is very much appreciated and helps us as a team to drive forward continuous improvement to ensure we provide the best education and environment for our young people.

However, as a school we want to continue improving our quality of teaching and learning. One of the areas we have targeted for immediate improvement is literacy and as a result, in February 2021 we introduced a whole school literacy project to raise our students’ attainment in English. The project includes both one-to-one and small group interventions (for those students identified through our assessment data as requiring additional support in English) and a whole school literacy focus with additional ongoing literacy training provided for all teachers.

• EIS SW launched 17 new after school activities which began on March 1 and in September 2021 we will introduce a range of lunchtime clubs.
• Regular meetings will continue to be held with the catering company about the provision and quality of food. We will also hold regular meetings with the school council about the kind of food students want. The first meeting with students was held in February and another meeting is scheduled for April.
• Additional outdoor sports equipment is being introduced such as footballs, cricket sets and snow play equipment.
