E learning Week 7 EIS West

Dear all,

I hope you all were able to enjoy some time away from computer screen during our half term break. It was great to see all of the children back in online classes on Tuesday and hear about what they got up to over their time away from the online classroom. This week saw each class start their final topic or theme for the year. Each class has shared a little bit about their new topics in this week’s newsletter.

Next week, the week commencing 18th May 2020, we will be promoting Well-Being. Well-being is the experience of health, happiness and feeling comfortable. Throughout the week class teachers will share a range of activities that promote mindfulness, growth mind set, exercise and kindness. Your child will be taking part in calming, positive and fun activities that encourage them to think deeply about self-care and the importance of taking care of their mind and body as well as respecting other peoples’. During the week the children will take part in a range of activities and on Friday at the student councils request we will have a dress up day where we invite them to dress in the colours of the rainbow. Miss Abi will send some more information via email about all the events taking place next week.

We are now in our 7th week of online learning and it’s amazing to see each week that the children are continuing to work extremely. Please remember if you have any questions you can also ask me or your child’s teacher. Thank you all for your continued support.

Best Wishes

Ryan Hannah
