Dear Parents,

“Bb” is for a beautiful week that we have had! With bubbles, and body tracing, bumblebees, and bones, we were definitely busy!!

In Math, students have been moving closer to one on one correspondence, drawing and matching pictures with the digit on display. New counting songs are being introduced during circle time, as well as practice in counting ordinal numbers when we line up to go outside (..I am first, I am second, etc).

In language and literacy, not only have we practiced printing letter Bb, both the large and the small letter, but included our letter art for the week: Bones for big letter B, bumblebee for small letter b.

Speaking of bones, next week we will be celebrating Halloween on Friday, October 23. Children may come dressed for this spooky occasion if they wish, where we will have some fun and games related to this popular western celebration. A reminder that this day school will be a shorter school day than usual as we prepare for our October break.

Wishing everyone a restful and sunny fall weekend!

EYFS Team.
