Dear Parents,

From shape pictures, letter ‘Aa’ printing practice, to talking “All About Me”, EYFS students have been busy this week…

For Math, students have been reviewing 2-D shapes: we have played with Tanograms, created self-portraits using a variety of shapes and patterns, as well as recognizing shapes on pictures of our faces.

In Literacy, we have been learning two poems about our little hands and fingers, while reviewing our favorite songs learned from the weeks passed.

For Science and The World Around Us, we are still fascinated with apples: did you know an apple seed is called a ‘pip’ and there are only 5 pips in every apple? If you cut an apple in half cross ways, it will reveal a star with its 5 pips; what a fascinating world we live in!

Looking forward to another rewarding week ahead,

Your EYFS team.
