Dear Parents,
This week we are happy to report that our class is a ‘bushel of good apples…nobody is a blue apple”. What is a ‘bushel’ and what is a ‘blue apple’, you might ask?
Positive classroom behavior was the focus during circle time, and class rules were reviewed as well as put on display in our room, using apples! (A bushel simply means a group of good apples!) Behavior we wish to change or work on helps us to understand what a ‘blue apple’ might look and feel like.
Following along with our apple theme, students had a chance to paint with apples, count with apples, balance apples on our heads, as well as enjoy an apple taste test. A very interesting week indeed!
