Dear Parents,

After completing our first week of E-Learning, both our students’ and teachers’ skills have increased immensely. I have been so impressed this week with the amount of students who have been engaging with our online learning. It is a credit to all of the students and teachers to how well they have adapted to this new style of learning. On Wednesday we had nearly 40 people sign on and join our online virtual assembly about world Poetry week.

I have set them a challenge to write or record a poem of their choice and send it to me. For those students still yet to engage in online activities, we strongly encourage you to do so. If you need any help or support accessing Canvas or Seesaw please don’t hesitate to contact me or your class teacher.

Do keep your eyes on your emails and our Canvas pages , as we continue to update parents on our whole school responses to the current closure period. I hope you enjoy seeing a roundup of what’s been happening at EIS West E-learning across the school this week.
