Dear all,

As we come to the end of our 5th week of E- Learning nothing seems to be stopping the amazing work that the children have been doing. You can see some of the children’s amazing work that has been shared on our schools Facebook page or Instagram. This week we took the opportunity to teach the children about Earth day , Wednesday 22nd April marked the 50th Earth day, during our assemblies we discussed ways in which we could help protect our planet. The children came up with some amazing ideas some of which have been posted and shared over on our Facebook Page.

As you are aware next week we will be teaching online Monday and Tuesday, then from Wednesday 29th we will take the Spring break so that students, teachers and parents can have well deserved rest from the computer screens. Teaching will resume on Tuesday 12th May. At the current time it is still unclear whether we will return to school campuses or continue to teach online. Please be reassured that we will update you once advice is forthcoming from the Moscow authorities.

The last five weeks have been challenging for us all, however as educators we could not have managed without the amazing support of our school community. I am very proud of the EIS West School community students, parents and teachers have all been working extremely hard in order to continue providing the best of British education here in Moscow.

Online Clubs for KS1-2 – 6, 7, 8th May

EIS are pleased to announce that we are able to offer a selection of online clubs across all three campuses on the dates above. The clubs will be free of charge. Further details regarding the activities on offer and how to sign up will be sent out on Monday 27th so look out for this.

Best Wishes and stay safe

Mr. Ryan Hannah
