This week birthday in EYFS we celebrated Ildar's 5th birthday. We enjoyed delicious cake and sang Happy Birthday to him while he blew out his 5 candles. Besides the birthday celebrations, we also worked our socks off in class. The reception children were very excited when they were able to blend the sounds that they have been learning, and were able to read a few words. A major achievement, considering that some of them could not speak English in September. The nursery children continued to work on their sound recognition and were able to identify the sounds we have been doing in class.
It is not all hard work in our class, sometimes we do yoga to help us relax and have a bit of a break from all the hard work that we do.
