Early years have worked really hard this week. I am so impressed with all the students. This week we have made an erupting volcano, as part of our topic on dinosaurs. We made our own dinosaurs and listened to some stories all about different dinosaurs. We have come to the end of our topic and will start our new topic next week.
In maths we have continued working on subtraction, days of the week as well as bonds to the number 5. the reception children also worked very hard on understanding capacity, half, full, almost full etc. In phonics we worked on the m sound and were able to find words that begin with m. To ensure that we are looking after ourselves, we even did some dino yoga. Some of us felt really tired afterwards.
As part of our wellbeing, we read a story about the Corona Virus and understand the importance of staying at home and washing our hands. Some of us feel sad about what is going on, but thank our mommies and daddies for ensuring that we remain safe
