EIS CORONAVIRUS PROTECTIVE MEASURES

The safety and well-being of students and their parents in our community is our absolute priority. We are implementing further precautionary measures to ensure the health and safety of our students and staff to address the developing COVID-19 virus situation. These measures will remain in place until we are advised to escalate or rescind them.

If you have returned to Moscow from any of the following countries: China, Iran, Italy, France, Germany, South Korea or Spain it is essential that you keep your child out of school for the self-isolation period of 14 days. We will support students who are unable to attend with targeted E-Learning. Our main priorities remain the safety and well being of your children at school and our provision for continuity of learning. We would be grateful for your co-operation in all aspects of this temporary situation.

1. All lessons will continue as normal in school, as will the bus service.

2. If necessary, we will implement some targeted E-Learning for children who are unable to attend school.

3. Parents should isolate their children and necessitate staying at home if they show any of the symptoms of a cold, fever or acute respiratory viral infections till they fully recover and provide a confirmation letter from a doctor.

4. All students and staff are required to check their temperature every day on arrival at school. Any student or staff indicating temperature above standard of more than would be sent home and would be isolated

5. Families returning from countries with high rates of infection will not be admitted onto school grounds until a period of 14 days has elapsed, as advised.

Health Checks in EIS schools:

Non-contact thermometers are being used to measure temperature of all students, staff, parents and visitors in each school.
