This week was a huge learning curve for us all! All of our Year One families have gone above and beyond and I a so thankful for them. We tackled Zoom videos, Seesaw, and Canvas. We made habitats, solved math problems, wrote sentences, read stories, and made paper airplanes. Everyone is working very hard. Just a reminder to take time to play, get some fresh air, and enjoy family time!
Year 2 have fully embraced online learning! This week we have been using a new App called SeeSaw! Children are sending videos, photos and voice comments about their work. We have also started Live lessons on Zoom! Year 2 responded very well! Everyone was able to work their microphone and answer my questions. We have also been reading lots of interesting books on Active Learn. On Purple Mash we practising our Maths skills and spellings. One child sent a video of herself reading a book, one boy sent a video of an experiment and another sent a video of her playing the piano. Lots of children are preparing other videos or work to send next week. I am so impressed with the effort and enthusiasm shown by Year 2 and their families. Thank you for all joining us on our Online Learning Adventure!
