Welcome to the Newsletter for EIS Moscow South West. This week I was delighted to meet some parents at my introduction meeting where I was able to assure parents that South West will remain a family unit dedicated to providing the best education possible for our students.
Valentine’s Day celebrations have seen the students writing messages about what they love for our new lobby display; as well as family and friends, chocolate seems to inspire feelings of love too! The PTA held a Bake Sale to raise funds for the school and students were encouraged to donate money to charity and to wear red. Well done to Polina who made her own red skirt to wear.
NEW! We are delighted that an ex-professional Master Chess player has agreed to teach chess to interested students in a new after school club. Two classes a week will each last from 45-60 minutes and are open to any age and cost 600 rubles per student per session. Classes can be held on Monday, Tuesdays and Thursdays. If your child is interested in participating please contact the School Secretary Svetlana Tsygankova at email@example.com stating which day you would prefer.
Finally, please remember that school holidays begin on Friday 21st February at 1pm.
Mel Hitchcocks, Interim Head of School.
